The piston rings were changed during the repair
Replacing piston rings without an oversize cylinder bore can result in the new rings running in long on the old cylinder surface with ovality. To speed up this process and make it safer (with minimal metal losses in rings and cylinders), it is recommended to use the Revitalizant®.
Hints
When the engine is dismantled, it is recommended during assembly to lubricate the cylinder surfaces with a mixture of Gel-Revitalizant® and engine oil in the same proportion.

The assembled engine should be treated with the Revitalizant® during break-in and immediately after replacing the piston rings.
