Long-term operation of a turbo engine with poor-quality oil, engine overheating, improper operation of the car, long-term consumption of oil that violates the oil manufacturer's consumption regulations - all this can often lead to excessive oil consumption by the turbo-compressor.
The XADO AMC Twin Turbo is an anti-wear additive for high-performance and otherwise heavily stressed combustion engines.
Do you need that?
Unfortunately, the misconception that "good oil" and "short" change intervals are sufficient for the longest possible engine life still circulates. Shorter oil change intervals are good, but even the best motor oil is not able to stop the inexorable process of wear caused by friction. As soon as the engine is started for the first time, wear and tear begins as the metal surfaces rub against each other.
The XADO Revitalizant, which is particularly highly concentrated in our TwinTurbo product, rebuilds worn metal surfaces by forming a metal-ceramic surface layer. The formation of this metal-ceramic surface layer is a physico-chemical process in which special silicate atoms combine with the metal atoms of the friction surfaces, creating a completely new surface. This new metal-ceramic surface is not only harder than the original metal alloy of the engine parts, but also has a significantly lower roughness, which leads to less wear and lower working temperatures.
The build-up process of the metal-ceramic surface layer only takes place at those points where high temperatures and pressures occur due to friction.
Suitable for all combustion engines with an engine oil volume of 3-10L
Treatment of Motors with Revitalizant®:
The restoration effect can be observed in turbo plain bearings (restoration of original air gaps, provided wear is not critical). The impeller and the turbo blades are not affected by the solution.
It is advisable not to switch off the turbo engine immediately after stopping. The oil cokes on the turbocompressor supports, which can lead to wear during further operation. If the engine is not equipped with a turbo timer, we recommend installing one.
Running a new car starts with breaking in. All components that are in contact with each other, regardless of the technologies used in their manufacture, must be adapted, i.e. they must be run in or to run in The service life of the car depends in many respects on the care taken during running-in. Ignoring this condemns the engine, with its large number of precision moving parts, to operate under increased loads, outside of its maximum efficiency range, which both affects service life and leads to excessive fuel and fuel consumption. leads to oil consumption.
Protecting the engine components of a new car against wear and adjusting them precisely during break-in - atomic metal conditioner New Car with the 1 Stage Revitalizant®, which is added to the engine oil.
Experience shows that the life of an improperly run-in engine is only 30% of the life of a properly run-in engine.
With low compression, cold engine starting is difficult. The warm start is not so difficult, but the engine does not start jerkily, like with an explosion, but slowly. Reasons for such low compression are cylinder wear, worn or destroyed piston rings, coking on piston rings, leaking or burnt valves, burning of the piston crown.
Reasons for such low compression are cylinder wear, wear or destruction of piston rings, coking of piston rings, leaking or burned valves, burning of piston crowns.
If the piston rings are coked, it is recommended Anticarbon - Add agents to decarbonize the piston rings in each cylinder through the glow plugs or nozzle openings. It is recommended Atomex TotalFlush - to use the oil system cleaner for engines against coking before changing the oil.
In the case of non-critical wear of the cylinders and piston rings, it is recommended to carry out a complete treatment of the engine's oil system with Revitalizant® for diesel engines or AMC Maximum mit 1 Stage Revitalizant® to do.
The second and most common reason for a hard hot start of the diesel engine is the wear of the fuel pump injector. When this element of the fuel pump wears out, the piston can still pump cold fuel. But when the fuel is heated a bit, it becomes thinner and is not pumped to the extent required for a normal diesel engine start. Non-critical wear of the fuel pump injection element can be eliminated by preliminary rinsing with special cleaners and further treatment of the fuel system with XADO Gel-Revitalizant® for fuel injection devices. We recommend using the following flushing systems for diesel engine fuel systems:
It is recommended to use the following XADO Revitalizant® to restore the fuel pump injector:
In order to reduce the pour point of diesel fuel by 7-12ºС, it is recommended to add the following agents to the still liquid diesel fuel at an ambient temperature of up to +5ºС and below:
If the injectors are heavily soiled, it is recommended to use the fuel system cleaners specified in point 2 on a regular basis.
Black exhaust gases during engine operation can be caused by the critical amount of deposits in the diesel particulate filter (DPF). To clean the diesel particle filter and to prevent deposits, it is recommended to use Verylube particle filter protection (diesel).
In the event of injector malfunctions, it is recommended to carry out a status diagnosis of the injectors and, if necessary, to replace them.
Smoke comes through the dipstick, it is squeezed out, the oil penetrates into the ventilation system socket due to the increased gas pressure in the crankcase. Reasons for this can be contamination of the crankcase ventilation, wear of the cylinder-piston group, coked piston rings or leaking valves.
If the valves are leaking, they must be replaced. In other cases, so that the exhaust gases do not exert pressure in the space above the crankcase, the problem can be eliminated with appropriate solutions.
Cleaning the ventilation system: VitaFlush - Oil system cleaner (universal) or TotalFlush - Oil system cleaner for engines as an additive for engine oil (200-1,000 km mileage).
For decarbonization of piston rings: Anticarbon - agent for decarbonization of piston rings, MaxiFlush - Cleaner for removing hard-to-dissolve dirt from engine systems. These agents are to be added to the cylinder-piston group through the spark plug bosses.
Removal of wear of the cylinder-piston group:
All agents are to be added to the engine oil.
This problem occurs mostly in engines with electronically controlled injection systems. Irregular / restless engine running can arise for various reasons.
In the event of incorrect operation of the idle speed controller, the air mass meter or the throttle valve potentiometer
the subgroups mentioned above must be replaced.
In the event of a malfunction in the fuel system:
For clogged / contaminated injectors / injection nozzles where deposits have already formed. In this case we recommend the XADO Multi Cleaner - injectors and fuel system cleaner to use.
In the event of a malfunction in the ignition system.
Is a candle, ignition cable, ignition coil diagnosis is necessary.
When the engine electronic control unit malfunctions.
The ECU cannot process the correct signal for the normal operation of the injectors / injectors. A professional diagnosis in a workshop is necessary.
This is indicated to you by the oil warning light flashing or lighting up after the engine has been fully preheated.
Increased air gap between crankshaft journals and shells.
The lubricating oil system can be attributed to the ucritical air gap between the crankshaft journals, shells and oil pump parts and the oil warning light flashing or illuminating during engine operation at idle Atomex Complex Oil Treatment – add the anti-smoke additive with Revitalizant®. Also, one should consider the lubricating oil system STEAL VitaFlush – Add oil system cleaner, based on 100 ml per 1 L engine oil, then drive 700-1,000 km. Please change the oil after this time and if necessary reintroduce one of the above-mentioned means to temporarily increase the oil pressure until the wear on the parts has been eliminated by XADO Revitalizant®. Next, the engine should be completely processed with XADO Revitalizant® to restore the worn shells and crankshaft journals and thus normalize the oil pressure: XADO Gel-Revitalizant® (according to engine type: for Diesel- or The petrol engine); XADO Revitalizant® EX120 (by engine type: for Diesel- or The petrol engine); STEAL 1 Stage, STEAL AMC Maximum. After complete processing and 4,000-5,000 km of mileage, the non-critical wear of shells, crankshaft journals and oil pump parts is completely evened out, which also normalizes the pressure.
Dilution of the oil by fuel or coolant.
If the engine oil is diluted by fuel due to the malfunction of the injector or injector nozzle, so that the oil warning light starts flashing at idle, we recommend adding one of the following agents to the diluted oil: Atomex Complex Oil Treatment – Anti-Rauch Additive with Revitalizant®. At the same time add to the fuel tank one of the following fuel system cleaners depending on the type of engine (diesel or petrol): Verylube Complex fuel system cleaner (diesel or petrol); Verylube fuel system cleaner (diesel or petrol); Atomex F8 Complex Formula (diesel or petrol); Atomex Multi Cleaner (diesel or petrol). After the fuel with the cleaner has been completely used up, add the XADO Revitalizant® EX120 for all types of fuel injection devices, XADO Revitalizant® EX120 for diesel engines, or XADO Gel-Revitalizant® for high-pressure pumps to the fuel before refuelling. Cleaning and processing the fuel system with one of the XADO Revitalizant® solutions allows to restore the normal operation of injectors and injectors, as well as eliminate the penetration of large amounts of fuel into the engine oil. If the fuel is diluted by coolant, the engine must be dismantled and repaired.
Insufficient oil level in the lubrication system.
If the oil level is not sufficient, it must be topped up to a sufficient level.
High resistance of the oil filter.
If the pressure is reduced by the high resistance of the oil filter, use an oil filter of the recommended model.
Oil pressure sensor failure.
If the oil pressure sensor is broken, it must be replaced.
Jamming of the pressure control valve in the lubrication system.
If the pressure control valve is stuck, it must be replaced.
If the injectors in petrol engines are excessively dirty, we recommend using the effective cleaner XADO for additional rinsing MaxiFlush to be used as a flushing liquid for standstill flushing or as an additive to the fuel in order to be able to flush the injectors during operation.
Any car can experience overheating. This problem is especially relevant on very hot days, especially when you are stuck in traffic. The overheating can cause the cylinder head to deform or the piston to seize in the cylinder.
Inefficient cooling performance of the radiator due to external (dust, poplar wool, etc.) as well as internal contamination (sludge, deposits in the cooler, next to the fan sensor and significant deposits in the cavities of the cooling system) of the cooler, as well as from relaxation of the belt drive of the fan or the pump.
Use VERYLUBE engine compartment cleaner to remove external dirt. Internal dirt should be flushed with Jet 100 Radiator Flush - flushing additive for engine radiators. In order to increase the service life To reduce wear, the belt drives of the fan or the pump with VERYLUBE V-belt spray.
Long-term operation of the engine in conditions of knocking, glow ignition due to poor quality fuel, fouling of injectors, a lot of deposits in the combustion chamber.
In order to eliminate the consequences of poor quality fuel and improve fuel properties, you should add the appropriate means to the fuel:
To restore normal injector operation, add one of the following to the fuel:
Removal of significant carbon deposits – VERYLUBE Anticarbon or AtomEx TotalFlush – oil system cleaner with the effect of decarbonizing piston rings in petrol and diesel engines. The agent is to be added directly to the engine cylinder. After decarbonization with VERYLUBE Anticarbon for engines, change the oil.
High resistance of the oil filter.
If the pressure is reduced due to the high resistance of the oil filter, replace it with a suitable oil filter. Severe operating conditions, slow speed towing mode.
Increased oil consumption can have different reasons, but coked piston rings are often the cause. Rarely is it due to the dirty crankcase ventilation.
The cause of piston ring coking (oil deposits in the piston grooves) is usually engine overheating. However, this can also occur during normal operation if the engine has been operated with low-quality fuel or oil for a long time. The deposits in the piston grooves impede the movement of the piston rings, which is why the seal in the cylinder-piston group, through which the oil drains, is damaged. The carbonized piston rings must be cleaned of deposits. The means suitable for this contain special substances that dissolve and loosen the slag deposits formed under high temperatures. The deposits must be removed from the cylinder-piston group.
Increased wear between the cylinder wall and the piston ring can impair the sealing of the cylinder-piston group, which can lead to increased oil consumption. The resulting wear can be eliminated with the Revitalizant®. The Revitalizant® compensates for wear in the cylinder-piston group, optimizes the air gaps, which in turn optimizes oil consumption.
Dirty crankcase ventilation.
If the crankcase ventilation system is not working properly, the pressure in the engine crankcase increases, which leads to excessive oil consumption. The crankcase ventilation must be cleaned.
This can be done by disassembling the engine or applying car care products. (by improving the flushing properties of the engine oil).
STEAL VitaFlush (200-1,000 km mileage).

- if the piston rings are not critically worn, the engine can be XADO Gel-Revitalizant® for engines*, XADO EX120 Revitalizant® for engines*, XADO 1 Stage Revitalizant® or XADO Atomic Metal Conditioner Maximum process according to the instructions for use.
- if the piston rings are critically worn, while the geometry (diameter, oval) of the cylinder does not exceed the parameters of critical wear, it is imperative to change the piston rings. For better running-in of new piston rings, it is useful when assembling the engine XADO Gel-Revitalizant® for cylinders applied by applying the gel to the working surface of the cylinder (area of contact with piston rings) and then performing 15-20 piston strokes. Then reassemble the engine.
To free the coked piston rings, use Verylube Anticarbon, quick-acting agent to free the coked piston rings, for both petrol and diesel engines. The agent should be added directly to the engine cylinder. After removing coking with Verylube Anticarbon Engines it is necessary to change the oil. Before you have the engine oil changed, you can Atomex TotalFlush use. This is a cleaner for oil systems with the effect of removing carbon deposits on piston rings.
Replacement of defective parts, adjustment and adjustment of control equipment.

Can a few liters of poor quality fuel damage the engine? Yes, that's entirely possible. Boot-up malfunctions and misfires are not the worst of things. In some cases, coked piston rings, worn honing, bent valves, catastrophic wear of sealing rings, inextricably clogged oil reservoirs, and strange substances instead of the usual engine oil, which has a viscosity more like grease, can result as a result.
Fuel containing resins, unspecified hydrocarbons, as well as benzene, xylene, toluene is especially dangerous. Such "gasoline" does not burn completely in the engine, as a result of which pollution is formed. This contamination penetrates into the crankcase and very quickly renders all the additives present in the engine oil ineffective there, making the consistency of the oil unsuitable for the engine. Such "engine oil" cannot lubricate the engine at high temperatures, and at low temperatures it disables the engine. If you fill up the car with such a fuel substitute even once, the engine can be destroyed after a few hundred kilometers. In order to reduce the probability of the negative consequences of refueling with poor-quality fuel, it is possible to increase the fuel's flushing properties and other properties by adding special additives before refuelling. These additives ensure complete fuel burning and lower levels of resin contamination by acting as a solvent on the contaminants and preventing them from coagulating. If bad fuel enters the engine, immediately flush the fuel system and oil system and change the oil yourself.

Many internal combustion engines perform worse than a new engine after the overhaul. The accuracy of adjustment of all sizes and the machining cleanliness of all surfaces of crankshafts and cylinders is lower than before. Therefore, the break-in conditions of these internal combustion engines are more severe. At least during the first 3,000-4,000 km of mileage, they should not be heavily loaded. As a rule, the initial break-in of the engine after the overhaul takes 2,000-3,000 km, and the final adjustment of the components takes place during 10,000-15,000 km of mileage. The existing idea that the cheapest, i.e. the lowest quality, oil can be used during the initial engine break-in (1,500-2,000 km) is completely wrong. It is precisely during running-in that the components are most stressed, because their surfaces only come into contact with peaks of microscopic roughness, which remain forever after mechanical treatment.
After using Gel-Revitalizant® for engines on overhauled engines, no careful running-in is necessary and it allows the components to be ideally adapted using the engine oil recommended by the manufacturer throughout the entire service life. The XADO Gel-Revitalizant® for engines enables the ideal adjustment of the reused components. The running-in time is at least twice as long, and there is no need to change the engine oil after the first running-in, because the metal shavings that accumulate in the oil form a metal-ceramic layer on the friction surfaces and quickly create optimal joint play between the components. The treatment of the engine with the XADO Gel-Revitalizant® is particularly effective when parts of the components (pistons, piston rings and inserts) are changed without cylinder bores and grinding of the crankshaft journals. In this case, treating the engine with XADO Gel-Revitalizant® allows to restore the working surfaces of the cylinders and crankshaft journals, some of which have been worn, and to match the components that are put back exactly to those that were not replaced during the repair.
Replacing piston rings without an oversize cylinder bore can result in the new rings running in long on the old cylinder surface with ovality. To speed up this process and make it safer (with minimal metal losses in rings and cylinders), it is recommended to use the Revitalizant®.
When the engine is dismantled, it is recommended during assembly to lubricate the cylinder surfaces with a mixture of Gel-Revitalizant® and engine oil in the same proportion.
The recommended product – Revitalizant® for cylinders
The assembled engine should be treated with the Revitalizant® during break-in and immediately after replacing the piston rings.
Suggested products:
Light-colored deposits (emulsion) under the oil filler cap indicate insufficient moisture in the engine oil. They often occur when driving continuously with a cold engine, especially during the winter months. The condensate accumulates in the engine over time, and the oil turns into a light beige emulsion. When the block seal burns out, the coolant can get into the engine oil, which ultimately leads to the formation of an emulsion.
Dark brown tar deposits indicate heavy contamination of the oil system.
Before changing the oil and when flushing the oil system, add VitaFlush – oil system cleaner (universal) to the engine oil (mileage 400–1,000 km).
If you have the problems described above in winter, but these disappear after the engine has warmed up, this is quite normal.
Long-term operation of the car in difficult conditions, overheating of the engine, increased pressure in the lubrication system, use of low-quality engine oils lead to wear and aging (loss of elasticity) of the rubber seals. As a result, traces of oil (oil stains) appear on the engine. These oil stains foul the engine's outer surface and cause ingress of abrasives (dust, sand, etc.) into the engine, thereby accelerating its wear.
In addition, the reduction of the cross-section of the passage openings and the control valve (tar deposits, slagging) in the crankcase ventilation leads to the increasing pressure of the crankcase gas and ejection of oil through the hole of the dipstick, valve cover gasket, fuel pump, ignition distributor, etc. The accumulation of crankcase gas degrades the properties and composition of the engine oil. Malfunctions in the crankcase ventilation do not significantly affect the operation of the ignition and fuel systems in engines with a carburetor system. In modern engines that use fuel injection systems, failures in the normal operation of the crankcase ventilation system can result in the complete loss of functionality of the engine control system.
To restore the elasticity of the working surfaces of rubber seals and eliminate oil leaks, use Atomex Stop Leak Engine – Oil additive to prevent leaks in the engine.
To keep the crankcase ventilation in working order, flush the oil system before changing the oil VitaFlush – Oil system cleaner (universal), or Atomex TotalFlush – Oil system cleaner with the effect of decarbonizing the piston rings, or Verylube oil system cleaner (quick or mild).
To remove oil stains on the engine's outer surface, use Verylube Engine Compartment Cleaner before cleaning.
If you pay attention to the coloring of the exhaust gases, you can establish a preliminary diagnosis of car defects:
Decarburization of Piston Rings: Enter STEAL AtomEx Total Flush - for decarbonization of the piston rings which approx. 150-200 km before the oil change is filled into the engine oil.
Increase in oil viscosity: Atomex Complex Oil Treatment – Anti-Rauch Additive with Revitalizant®.
Treatment of Motors with Revitalizant®: Atomarer Metal conditioner Maximum with 1 Stage Revitalizant® or 1 Stage Revitalizant® for petrol and diesel engines.
Applying Revitalizant® to engines eliminates surface defects on cylinder liners and restores component geometry, which leads to increased compression, tightening of gaps, reduced oil consumption and smoke density.
Main reasons:
Insignificant oil rash on the surface of the air filter indicates clogging of the lubrication system or complete clogging of the air filter cartridge.
In the event of contamination, the filter insert of the air filter should be changed.
In case of contamination of the lubrication system, it is recommended to add VitaFlush - oil system cleaner to the old oil before the planned oil change and to drive 700-1,000 km with it. After that, you can change the engine oil along with the oil filter. Using XADO VitaFlush with every oil change keeps the engine and crankcase ventilation clean.
In the case of severe oiling of the air filter and non-critical wear of components of the cylinder-piston group of the engine (diagnosed by engine diagnostics), it is recommended to carry out an unscheduled oil change with preliminary flushing of the lubrication system with XADO VitaFlush.
After flushing the lubrication system with XADO VitaFlush and changing the oil, it is recommended to treat the engine with XADO Gel-Revitalizant® for engines to restore the worn components of the engine's cylinder-piston group.
The recommended XADO Revitalizants for treating the lubrication system: XADO Gel-Revitalizant® (depending on engine type: for diesel and petrol engines) or XADO Revitalizant® EX 120 (depending on engine type: for diesel and petrol engines); XADO 1 stage; XADO АМС Maximum – metal conditioner with Revitalizant®.
Extraneous noises can often be heard when the engine is running. Very often problems are caused by belt drives of attachments. Squeaking (whistling) occurs as a result of belt wear or contamination (oiling). In addition, old belts can dry out and lose elasticity or become damaged. microcracks form on it, which, in turn, become clogged with accumulated dirt. This will cause the belt to slip on the pulley.
A defective belt must be replaced.
If the belt is dirty or no longer sufficiently elastic, use Verylube V-belt spray - spray for the care of drive belts on engine parts.
When the engine is first started after a period of inactivity, a pronounced noise (frequent "clicking / rattling") of the working hydraulic tappets can be heard for a while. With a perfectly working engine, the noise disappears after warming up, damaged hydraulic lifters continue to rattle. This can be caused by contamination of the starting nozzles and/or wear on the hydraulic lifters. It is therefore first necessary to rinse these assemblies thoroughly. This can help to determine the cause of the rattling noises: If it is dirt, the knocking noises disappear after the starting nozzles have been flushed. If the hydraulic tappets are worn, the noise can be eliminated by increasing the viscosity of the oil or by changing the oil. A thicker oil seals the air gaps. If the wear on the hydraulic tappets is critical, they must be replaced.
Flushing the hydraulic valve lifter starting jets: VitaFlush - universal oil system cleaner to be added to the engine oil (from 200 to 1,000 km mileage).
Increase in oil viscosity: Atomex Complex Oil Treatment - Anti-Rauch Additive with Revitalizant®.
Adding the high temperature viscosity increased oil. For example, changing from oil with viscosity SAE 5W-40 to SAE 5W-50.
Experience shows that the use of Atomic Metal Conditioner TURBO, which has mild flushing properties, reduces tappet knocking.
Signs of compression reduction:
Causes of low or uneven compression:
In the case of coking on the piston rings and coking deposits on the combustion chamber walls and the piston crown, it is recommended to decarbonize them.
Decarbonization is achieved through STEAL AtomEx Total Flush achieved. The product will be approx. Filled into the motor oil 150-200 km before the oil change and later drained completely with the used oil.
If noise from wheel hub bearing operation has appeared relatively recently, it can be eliminated by using XADO Repair Lubricant. A high content of Revitalizant® in this lubricant allows to eliminate significant accumulated wear in friction couples.
Dismantle the assembly, clean the bearing from the old lubricant and rinse. During the visual inspection make sure that there are no significant scratches more than 0.1 mm deep, damage and holes on the bearing raceways. The bearing cage should be undamaged. Then fill the bearing with the XADO repair lubricant. During storage filling, no more than 2/3 of the free interior space is to be filled. Reassemble and adjust the assembly. The noise of the bearing should be reduced after 2,000-3,000 km of mileage.
After 8,000-10,000 km of mileage with XADO repair lubricant and complete elimination of the defect, it is recommended to replace the old lubricant in the bearing with XADO lubricant for constant velocity joints.
After 8,000-10,000 km of mileage with XADO repair lubricant and complete elimination of the defect, it is recommended to change the lubricant in the bearing to XADO lubricant for constant velocity joints.
Oxidized, stuck, baked and rusted threaded connections are always a problem, especially in cars with a long service life. Products of the oxidation reaction can increase in size several times, causing the threaded connection to become jammed. The dirt and fine dust penetrating the threaded connections also multiply the friction between the linking parts.
To eliminate this problem, it is recommended to use high penetrating solutions that can significantly reduce friction and dissolve dirt.
causes
Occurrence of crackling when jumping off suddenly with the steering wheel turned or even when driving straight ahead at a certain speed. A sure sign of CV joint wear occurs after one of the causes:
Every specialist in the workshop forms his judgment immediately - the constant velocity joint has to be changed.
If the constant velocity joint has not cracked for a long time and the crackling occurs only when the steering wheel is turned intensively or under extreme conditions, then you do not need to buy a new constant velocity joint. Such wear on the constant velocity joint can be eliminated with the special lubricant: XADO repair lubricant with Revitalizant® and afterwards you can continue driving the car with the restored constant velocity joint until the end of the endurance run.
To do this, the constant velocity joint must be dismantled and dismantled so that the mutual position of the parts is marked. Then it is to be cleaned from the old lubricant and flushed. It is recommended to use XADO Universal Industrial Flush.
Afterwards you have to make sure that there are no major damages (chips, deep cracks, holes larger than 0.1 mm) on the components. The next step is to assemble the device.
Then the interior has to be filled with the XADO repair lubricant and the constant velocity joint has to be installed in the place intended for it. After 2,500-3,000 km of mileage, crackling completely disappears.
After 18,000-20,000 km mileage with XADO repair lubricant we recommend removing the joint cover, removing the old lubricant and flushing the interior of the constant velocity joint. Then is XADO lubricant for constant velocity joints to be inserted for the entire endurance run. Install the device and attach the cover.
In order for the constant velocity joints to work as long as possible, we recommend following the three basic rules:
In order to avoid tearing of the cuff set, it is necessary to visually inspect the cuff sets regularly. When the cracks or Microcracks, it is necessary to change the set of cuffs before destroying them. It more often affects old vehicles because the rubber material coarsens and tears over time. If the set of cuffs is torn, it should be replaced.
If the boot set has torn relatively recently without affecting the constant velocity joint itself, the assembly should be disassembled and cleaned of old grease. Then fill the assembly with XADO Lifetime Constant Velocity Lubricant. After that, install the constant velocity joint with the new boot set.
Is the set of cuffs torn a long time ago and also dirty, what to accelerate wear? of the components and to crackling when the car is turned, the usual lubricant must be changed to XADO repair lubricant - and this until the defect is eliminated. To read: "Crackle of the constant velocity joint".
If you actuate the clutch while the engine is idling and you still notice the noises in the gearbox, you have to change the release bearing. If the noises in the gearbox have reduced, they were probably caused by wear of the working surfaces of the bearings or gears.
If you use the Revitalizant®, you can restore the worn surfaces, which reduces the noise in the gearbox.
A feature of some manual transmissions is initially noisy operation. Sometimes the noise goes away over time and the transmission components break in. If the noise persists, it is mostly caused by imprecisely manufactured gears with change of mesh and shafts or by insufficiently precise assembly. If the teeth grip the opposite side very tightly, they deform and this results in noise.
If the change in engagement is not too intense, it is possible to effectively reduce the noise in such transmissions with the Revitalizant®.
Gearbox oiling is observed more often in cars with high mileage, which are intensively operated in hot season. It is not uncommon for oil to appear at the junction of the gearbox and engine as well as at the clutch. Sometimes the cause of oil leakage from the unit (including from the engine) is a malfunction in the ventilation system. For this reason, the housing ventilation must first be checked and, if necessary, to clean.
The most common reason for oiling of aggregates is the loss of elasticity of the filling seals or inserts due to aging due to the period of use and high temperatures. The seals dry up and thus do not lean against the parts tightly.
The tightness of the mechanism can be restored with the help of an oil additive, the active components of which are special softeners. Under the action of softening agents, the material from which the seal is made swells and thus leans closer to the surface.
Means for eliminating oil leaks from mechanical transmissions:
The agent can be used for any type of mechanical transmission: manual transmission, transfer case, axle (differential).
Difficult gear shifting in mechanical transmissions can be caused by various reasons.
Wear of synchronizers.
In cars with a high mileage over time, the conical contact surfaces of the synchronizers and the opposite conical surfaces of the corresponding gears wear out, which ultimately leads to problems during gear shifting. Adding the Revitalizant® to the unit restores or reduces the proper friction of cone-shaped components. their further wear is stopped if they are in a critical state.
Wear/break off of shift fork
Change the worn components.
Gear shift adjustment is required.
Adjust the gear shift.
Clutch actuation adjustment is required.
Adjust the clutch actuation.
Experience shows that the use of metal conditioners in transmission components enables a reduction in operating noise and fuel consumption (especially in four-wheel drive vehicles).
Vibrations during engine operation can arise for various reasons, including fouling of the injectors, absence of spark in the cylinder, fluctuations in compression in the cylinders, sticking (coke deposits) of the piston rings, wear of engine bearings or clutch discs.
Engine misfire (Fuel System Malfunction). Probable cause: contamination of the injectors. We recommend MaxiFlush – Concentrated cleaner for the fuel system (petrol).
Engine misfire (one of the cylinders does not work stably). Probable cause: absence of spark in the cylinder (fault in the electrical circuit). We recommend ensuring trouble-free operation of the spark plug.
Unstable engine operation due to fluctuations in compression in the cylinders, jamming (coking) of piston rings. Decarbonization of the piston rings.

Wear of engine bearings.
We recommend changing the engine mounts.
Wear of the clutch discs. Vibration is felt when starting and picking up speed (wheel slip). We recommend repairing the clutch and changing the worn components.
Main Causes::
1) Insufficient oil level
2) Dirty transmission oil
3) The final drive reducer or differential gear is damaged.
4) Wear of semi-axle bearings.
5) Wear of spline connection with half axle gears.
6) The semi-axles are deformed or have an unacceptable runout.
7) Loosening of the fastening screws in the axle reduction gear housing, the fastening nuts of the driving gear, the fastening of the driven gear or misalignment.
1) Operation of a vehicle with insufficient level of transmission oil leads to excess heating and consequent rapid wear of bearings and gears of the reducer and differential gear. When the drive axle wears out, background noises arise in various operating modes. In order to eliminate such wear, one should first confirm and eliminate the cause of the leakage. If the leakage is caused by loss of elasticity or insignificant wear of the sealing rings of the drive gear or semi-axes, it is recommended to add SEALER — the agent for elimination of leakages in transmission units in transmission oil, because such solidifying agent can restore elasticity of sealing rings and eliminate leakage . If leakage occurs because of a damaged breather, leaking caps, damaged gaskets, or leaking differential cover, such causes should be eliminated by replacement or repair. Further, after eliminating the causes of leakage and adding oil to the required level, it is recommended to add one of the XADO Revitalizant® solutions for gears and reducers to transmission oil to eliminate wear of bearings and gears.
annotation: When the wear is approaching the wear limit or when the efficiency of application of the XADO Revitalizant® solution for gears and reducers is not sufficient after the mileage of 3,000-5,000 km, it is recommended to use XADO repair lubricant in the amount not more than 2% additionally enter the oil pan into the heated transmission oil.
2) If a large amount of dirt and moisture gets into the transmission oil, bearings and toothed gears can quickly wear out even with insignificant mileage. In this case, it is recommended to change the transmission oil, rinse the axle interior and treat the fresh transmission oil with one of the XADO Revitalizant® solutions for gears and reducers.
3) If the final drive reducer is damaged, all fully worn components should be replaced and gaps adjusted properly. After readjusting the repaired reducer and running it in for a short time (100-300 km), for further protection against wear it is recommended to treat the axle with one of XADO Revitalizant® solutions for gears and reducers if there are no assembly defects.
Such solutions are suitable for all the situations described:
4) In the event of critical wear, the half-axle bearings should be replaced.
5) In case of critical wear, the splined shaft connection with half-axle gears should be changed.
6) Loosening of the fastening screws in the axle reduction gear housing, the driving gear fastening nuts, the driven gear fastening or its misalignment can be corrected by tightening them to the recommended torque.
There are different reasons for the difficulty in starting the engine, especially in the cold. These are usually the ones that occur due to poor flammability of the fuel-air mixture and/or heavy turning of the cardan shaft using a starting device.
Until the cause of the defect is precisely identified and eliminated, you can use the agent for easy engine starting. The means contains the special components facilitating flammability. To start a petrol engine, you need to inject a little of the spray into the air filter or priming air plenum.
Quick START - Means for quick engine start
In order to make it easier for you to start the engine in the cold season, it is recommended to take the following measures before starting winter operation:
